Vision & Mission of Grace East Africa
The vision and mission of Grace East Africa began over two decades ago in a large Ugandan town in Eastern Uganda called Bugiri. It was conceived out of the urgency to meet the desperate needs that characterize many East African towns and villages where poverty and a number of challenges such as Advanced HIV exist. A team of individuals have come together over the years and has established an ongoing work in Bugiri where many have served as volunteers out of a local Church called Grace Evangelical Mission. In 2011 a small team based in the South of England set out to establish a UK Non-profit called Grace East Africa to raise awareness and financial support for this crucial work that has been going on in Uganda for so many years. Our aim is to work together with individuals, businesses, churches and organizations to promote and develop this work further into the needy region of East Africa.
Together, reaching out, stretching to meet each challenge with a clear view of tomorrows consequences if we miss our God-given opportunities today.
Investing into East African Communities
Partner together with us at Grace East Africa by investing financially into the spiritual & social welfare of East African communities. Your finances will go into a number of our Activities and Projects. Grace has traditionally placed a strong emphasis on reaching out to the vulnerable children and orphans in the Bugiri District. Grace also goes into the marginalized and isolated communities on the fringes and Islands of Lake Victoria and establishes similar activities alongside Church Planting initiatives. Establishing Social Care, Education and Income Generation Programs as well as holding Training Conferences are just a few of the activities and objectives being met by our committed team in Bugiri.
